German language is a vast language. Its writing system is Latin and German Braille. It is recognized as the official language of Germany, Austria and Liechtenstein. Moreover, it is even considered as the co-official language of Switzerland, Luxembourg and European-union. This language even provides spectacular knowledge of German culture and makes learner feel the German culture. As well as it is very easy to learn for students with a good hold on English.
The foreign language has 6 levels; A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2. A1 Level focuses on understanding and using everyday words and simple sentences. This level of German language helps tourist to travel in Germany and to take help from natives.
A2 level of the language leads to an easy understanding of expressions directly related to his/her work, family, routine etcetera. So, A1 and A2 are the elementary levels of the German language.
On the other hand, B1 and B2 levels of this language are for independent use. By the end of the B1 level, a student can understand main points. Topics associated with work, school, leisure time, etcetera are the main focus. Whereas by the end of B2 level a student is proficient with the language.
Now move towards C1 and C2 are an autonomous level of the German language. In the ending of the C1 level, a student can easily know a wide range of complex texts and also grasp implicit meanings. A student can easily express himself/herself easily and fluently without the lack of knowledge of vocabulary. Whereas, C2 level a person can understand what he/she hears spontaneously and can summarize information from different sources.
It is compulsory for students who want to study Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Germany in the German language. There are certain exams which certify the ability of an individual to speak German language, i.e Test Daf, DSH and Goethe.
